Lyrics ()
hito no nasake ga hitoshizuku
shimite kurou wo wasure sake
mukashi koishi i shitamachi no
yume ga hanasaki ku kinshichou
yotterasshai
yotterasshai o niisan

kao ya sugata nya horenai ga
otoko rashisanya shibirechau
sonna musume ga iru kameido ni
koi wohiraini mawari michi
yotterasshai
yotterasshai o niisan

nome ba nomu hodo ureshi kute
shirazu shirazu ni hashigo sake
koha koiwa to hetanashare
sake no sakana ni hosu gurasu
yotterasshai
yotterasshai o niisan

otoko masari no mama ga iru
koushi tsukuri no ikina mise
edo no nagori no asakusa ha
ki yarikuzushino sake no aji
yotterasshai
yotterasshai o niisan
One drop of human sympathy is
Forget the trouble with wine stains
I miss the old downtown
Kinshicho dream bloom
Come on
Come on brother (ie : get in the bar)

Physical attributes can't make me love someone
Masculinity is necessary
Kameido (in tokyo) has some daughter like this
Open a detour to love
Come
Come brother

The more you drink, the more you please me
Bar-hopping without knowing
Love is a terrible pun
Wine glasses hang on fish
Come
Come brother

Mom is manly
Trendy shops everywhere
The remnants of the Edo Asakusa
Carry the taste of liquor break
Come
Come brother
Trivia :
The word “hashigo”, in its non-slang sense, means “ladder” or “stairs”. The slang sense is figurative : you’re climbing the “ladder” and each bar or club or tavern is a rung. “zake” means “sake” .
